More than one. I could walk you along our route, if you like. There’s a chance we missed some on our way.

I took them to be marks from the hunting lodge at the time. But I don’t think that’s true anymore.

If the marks weren’t there, I’d say it was coincidence. But I’m not sure it was.

There's no coincidences in this kind of thing, Nikolai. Someone wanted him found.

I can't say for certain. We'd have to ask Ianthe if she noticed anything absent.

The head was nearly severed when we found him. It came loose when Quentin was trying to get him down.

I'm not sure it was intentional, or if they cut deeper than they meant to when they were opening his throat.

I would say they would have had to use a knife. Unless they used their own, someone would have missed an axe or saw and started asking questions.

It isn't easy to cut that deep, especially accidentally.

How many people have got a problem with Felipe, exactly?

I have the sense it's not a small number.
